Heather Causey is a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) with deep roots in South Carolina, where she was born, raised, and educated. Heather Causey earned her BS in nursing, and later earned an MS in nurse anesthesia from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.

Heather Causey began her nursing career at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, where she provided holistic and collaborative care to critically ill patients in the surgical trauma intensive care unit. As a charge nurse, she was responsible for managing a diverse team and caring for patients with complex needs, including trauma victims and post-surgical cases requiring advanced critical care needs and support.

Serving as a staff CRNA at Columbus Regional Hospital in Whiteville, North Carolina, since 2021, Ms. Causey brings a wealth of experience to the perioperative setting. In this role, she provides anesthesia to a diverse patient population, including high-risk ASA III and IV patients in one of North Carolina's most medically underserved counties.
